Leslie makes every effort to ensure that the patients in the Hematology Clinic are aware of any and all changes that are made to their schedule. She communicates with them via personal contact, e-mails, and mail. She is very conscientious of the patients' needs outside the hospital and tries to accommodate those requests. She strives to build a rapport with the patients and staff throughout the hospital. Leslie takes the time to answer questions and educate patients when needed. If appointments cannot be scheduled as requested Leslie will collaborate with the health care team to ensure the patient is treated according to protocol. Leslie treats patients like she wants to be treated-with a kind and compassionate heart.
