Li Meihua joined SRRSH in 1993, before the official opening of the hospital. For the past 26 years, Meihua has been working so hard. She provides the best care for patients with her expertise and empathy. She always offers to take care of critical patients, who recover very well and appreciate Meihua's caring.
Meihua is an excellent preceptor for new nurses, transferred nurses, visiting nurses as well as nursing students. She not only teaches them knowledge and skills but also shows them by her own example. She is always there to support them. Our nurses love Meihua and enjoy working with her.
Meihua is also a very dedicated person. She helps me, the Nurse Manager, to run the unit. She prepared herself and colleagues very well for Joint Commission International site visit, Magnet Recognition site visit, and quality assurance inspections. And she never complains about the extra time and energy she spends on those kinds of things. I am so grateful to have her.
Also, Meihua manages to maintain a balance between life and work. She is the role model for her daughter, who is raised to be an independent, brave, diligent and an excellent girl.
Meihua has received three DAISY Award nominations. Right now, I nominate her again. Meihua is such a good nurse and a good mother. Love her!
