Linda McKesson, RN

Linda McKesson was our nurse. After several attempts to call my midwife in, it was determined my wife was ready to push. Linda gave us a rundown of the process. For the first 20 min or so, it was just us with Linda. She was the best coach/cheerleader. She was so encouraging. Once the midwife arrived, Linda stayed with my wife with some level of encouragement. After just 39 minutes of pushing our baby was born. After the birth, Linda helped my wife go to the bathroom. My wife got lightheaded and Linda jumped into action to swiftly return my wife to bed. Linda's shift ended and she still remained by my wife's side helping her. A few days later when we were in recovery there was a call to our room and it was Linda checking on my wife from home! We believe Linda is more than deserving of this award.
