Our son was admitted to the NICU shortly after birth. Although this was an unexpected traumatic turn of events, Lindsay treated me with true empathy and respect for our privacy and personal preferences. She accommodated me by making me comfortable and seeing my personal needs were met as she cared competently for our baby. She truly has a passion for seeing babies thrive and moms be at ease. Her knowledge of the procedures and tests was excellent, and she patiently and clearly explained them to me. She has a gift for encouraging and helped me with learning to breastfeed, cheered me on as well, and allowed me to take care of my own health in a positive way. She was helpful in informing me about resources I have access to once I get home with my baby. I highly appreciate her skills as a NICU nurse and nominate her with no reservations as an Extraordinary Nurse deserving of the DAISY Award!
