A patient was seen 2 days ago in the Peds ED for a burn. The patient was discharged and instructed to follow up at the wound clinic in 2 days. When the patient arrived at the wound clinic, they were unable to see the patient.
Lindsay volunteered to go down to the wound center and compete the dressing change so the patient wouldn't have to make another trip to the emergency room. She also made sure arrangements were made so the patient would be able to get the dressing changes performed at the wound clinic.
