I was receiving chemo at the Effingham Cancer Center and went into anaphylactic shock; I was taken to the ER. Lindsey took care of me and informed my family about the situation. I was sent to the ER due to fever and vomiting. Lindsey took care of me again. She showed compassion, love, understanding, and professionalism both times.
Lindsey was always making sure I was comfortable and provided reassurance as she could tell I was extremely scared and lonely. I was admitted and have been in the hospital for 5 days and know I have at least 2 more days due to low blood levels. The floor nurse was unable to get a new IV started and called Lindsey from the ER to help. Lindsey came into my room with the biggest smile and jumped right in and started a new IV. It was apparent she is a team player and will do anything it takes to make sure patients are cared for. She has checked on me several times and her smile and genuine concern show daily.
