Lisa Feyes, BSN, RN, CEN, PHRN

I'm writing to you today to recognize an extraordinary ER nurse, Lisa Feyes. We brought my son A to the ER. As soon as we checked in they called us back to a room, and Lisa Feyes was the attending nurse. Being a mom of an only child, I was extremely anxious and scared. I had no idea what was going on with my son. His leg blew up twice the normal size. Lisa was calm and reassuring. She also shared that she is a mother of 8 children and has several grandchildren. She immediately made me feel at ease. She knew exactly what I was feeling. She also made A feel very calm. Every step of the way, she informed us of what was happening. I could tell by her demeanor that she loves her job and loves her patients. Upon discharge, she was extremely organized and explained everything very well. Forbes had a lot of great nurses, but to me, Lisa truly stands out through her clinical expertise, compassion, and care.
