Lisa is an excellent critical care nurse and is selfless when it comes to caring for others. She spends her days outside of the hospital caring for her recently widowed father and as a cheerleader for her older sister who is battling breast cancer. Even on the days that she is mentally and physically exhausted, Lisa continuously provides exceptional care to her patients.
Lisa is a comforter. She always cares for her patients and their families as if they are her own. She acknowledges their fears and anxieties related to their conditions and floods them with comfort and reassurance. Lisa is a positive influence and mentor to the unseasoned staff and is always willing to lend a helping hand.
Lisa does not provide the exceptional care she does for praise and applause. Lisa is passionate about nursing, taking care of others and being a shining light in a world filled with darkness. She leaves a lasting impact on all she encounters. She cares with her entire being and is truly a DAISY Nurse.
