Lisa checked a long list of medications before surgery and was extremely patient while the 88-year-old answered all the questions. Lisa showed compassionate humor as she listened to the responses and always made sure she understood what was being said. Lisa was the first nurse to give us an update from surgery. She definitely assured us of the progress going on and we were very grateful for her humaneness and professionalism.
