I unexpectedly needed to go to the hospital while in Texas for work. As a native of Boston, MA, I did not know which hospital would be equipped to best care for me. I have extensive GI issues and have been in and out of a lot of hospitals. On a whim, I chose to come to Georgetown Hospital because it was the closest.

On multiple days during my time there, my nurse was Liz. She went above and beyond and was caring. She was always there when I needed something, and she provided over-the-top extraordinary care. She always made sure I had what I needed and was comfortable. Most importantly, she always listened when I needed someone to listen. I felt cared for, felt safe, and felt like my health and well-being were a top priority. Liz made sure I was comfortable and made sure that there was clear communication with the doctor when needed. I am so thankful that Liz was my nurse for multiple days. She made my experience at St. David's Georgetown Hospital exceptional, and I truly believe she should be recognized for her hard work, compassion, and extraordinary care.
