I had the unfortunate experience of ending up in the hospital with a severe infection in my face. It turned septic and I was touch and go for a while. There were a few days I did not know where I was. I want to thank each and every one of the staff for getting me through my time. They all are truly amazing and wonderful at what you do. That being said, there was one person I met as I started to come out of my “fog”. Liza Jainarine went above and beyond helping me to understand what happened (I lost 3-4 days), and providing me with care at a very critical point. This nurse did things for me without even being asked to comfort me physically and emotionally. She constantly checked on me. Her bedside manner is an example for all. Both my sister and niece are nurses and they say bedside manner is the difference between a good nurse and an exceptional one. Having gone through this experience, I couldn't agree more.
