Logan was compassionate and unobtrusive. He thanked us for the opportunity to witness "a beautiful love story" (his words).
Our loved one had fallen and broken many bones, and was not expected to live. His wife of 65 1/2 years was with him when he fell. Family had flown in from all over the US, as far away as Alaska. All three daughters, three sons-in-law, and two of the grandchildren were by his side as he passed away. Logan went above and beyond in his care not only for his patient but also in his care and compassion for the entire family. He was the perfect nurse to care for our dad, grandfather, and husband in his last hours. He helped us find the assistance we needed to make some informed decisions. He was attentive and caring. He spoke with such respect about veterinarians, seemed genuinely interested in learning a little about his life, and when it came time for us to say goodbye to our loved one, he was compassionate and unobtrusive. He thanked us for the opportunity to witness "a beautiful love story" (his words). He hugged our mom. We think he deserves recognition for being the kind of nurse we should all wish to have in our final hours.
