I can't begin to put into words what Logan meant to me and my family. The first night she took care of my mom was after a very trying and challenging day. She came in to talk to us about the plan for the night with such calm and ease and continued to do so the next two nights. She treated my mom with all the dignity she would have wanted and continued to do it until she drew her very last breath. She used her exceptional skills as a nurse to explain, and most times re-explain procedures, labs, equipment, etc. to my dad and many family members with no healthcare knowledge. As a nurse at Wesley myself in an intensive care unit, we are all committed to the care and improvement of human life. Logan doesn't only practice this but she exemplifies it. She spent three very emotional, hopeful, and absolutely devastating nights with our family. In addition to her routine care, she also laughed with us, prayed with us and at the end cried with us. There is no way she can be thanked enough for how she touched our lives. God puts people in our lives that leave us and watch over us from above; he also places angels here on earth to touch us, that's Logan.
