Recently we've had some very complex patients. Lolita immediately recognized the special care issues for one such patient. Using critical thinking based on evidence-based care, Lolita determined the best method to meet this young patient's needs, no matter how challenging. She collaborated with many disciplines to achieve goals for this patient to ensure consistent care throughout every shift. Lolita is an extraordinary nurse who demonstrates outstanding assessment skills in the nursing process, support for her co-workers, and true compassion for her patients and their families.
