My Dad came to the ED on Monday Morning and needed to be transferred to CCU, but there were no beds available; Lora was his nurse. All day, she checked on him and us, made sure he was as comfortable as possible, explained to Dad things he didn’t understand, and was a great , compassionate person in our time of need.

Lora went above and beyond to stay after her shift to be able to transfer my dad herself to the CCU as a bed became available. Lora was off for a few days, and my dad's condition worsened. He was moved to another floor, and we started hospice care for him. We ran into Lora on her first night back to work and gave her an update on dad. She said she would keep us in her thoughts, and I gave her a huge hug. She again came to visit my dad and check on him after her shift was over. We were so happy to see a compassionate and caring soul at the hospital. Lora is a valuable asset to your hospital, and we will fondly remember her care.
