Lora Carmack was nominated for the DAISY Award by a co-worker. Here are some excerpts from her nomination:
“She is always doing things for patients. Whenever a patient needs anything, she is always getting it for them right away. If a family member is staying, always offering them pillows or setting up a cot for them. Very knowledgeable, co-workers are always asking her questions. She is always willing to help! She always has a smile on her face and somehow is always able to make people laugh! If you are having a bad day, she is always there to cheer you up!”
