It wasn't just her job duties it was the total empathy and compassion for our daughter, and K felt that.
Lori truly went beyond her duties as a nurse and helped my daughter emotionally as well as physically. We could feel her genuine concern and care for our daughter. K was experiencing a lot of pain after her colectomy surgery. Lori was doing everything she could to help bring down her pain level. It wasn't just her job duties it was the total empathy and compassion for our daughter, and K felt that. K was sad to see her leave at the end of her shift. Times like these are super stressful and little acts of kindness and providing excellent care make such a difference! Lori really was attentive to K’s needs and was wonderful with communicating any changes with us in her care to help get the pain under control. I hope Lori understands how amazing we think she is, and how truly grateful we are that we had her as our nurse. Lori has all the qualities that you appreciate as a parent that is watching someone handle the needs of your child. We had a wonderful experience here, because of her. She was fabulous. Everyone that entered our room made a positive difference in our situation. Please let Lori know how much we appreciated her amazing care.
