I'm not sure we could ever find the words to properly say "Thank You". December 3rd was a complete shock to us. Even though Dad has been sick with multiple myeloma the last four years, the last six months have been the best for him. He was doing things he hasn't done in a long time. He even babysat my twin toddlers a few days before his hospital trip. The night Daddy went to meet Jesus was the hardest thing I've ever experienced. He was truly the light of his daughters' lives. Lori was so patient with us and took the time to explain more than she needed to us. Her compassion and care for our Dad was so admirable. Lori was such a blessing to us during a terrible time and we will never forget her. I hope on the days when you leave work after a long, hard night unsure of yourself ...... I hope you think of us and all the patients and families whose lives you have forever changed.
