There are no words to describe how grateful I was to have Lyndsey as part of our team today. Our unit was understaffed, and her unit was over-staffed, so she was sent to us to help us. From the time she arrived, she was eager to do all she could - for the patients and for the other nurses around her. We rarely had a chance to sit down all day and were constantly running around. If it were not for Lyndsey, we wouldn’t have made it through the day! Every nurse can appreciate the help they receive from others on busy days, which is why Lyndsey deserves the DAISY Award. She was ready to spring into action! From hanging medications to helping start IVs, no complaints about anything that occurred, just continued support. She even managed to send messages like “Breathe, it’s fine!” when she saw I was overwhelmed overseeing everything. Thank you, Lyndsey, for your unwavering support and the outstanding care you provide to our patients!!! Your efforts did not go unnoticed!
