Madonna Lanong, Registered Nurse
When my dad was admitted to Pilgrim ward he was very frightened. Madonna Lanong’s care was the most reassuring thing for us all as a family.
She is an excellent nurse not only clinically but is able to adapt her care when required to provide holistic care to patients.
She has time for the patients as well as the family. I was reassured when she came on shift that he would be cared for when I left and that I would be updated if required if there were more changes to his condition.
She listens to our concerns and has a way of making you feel listened to.
She is an asset to Bedford hospital and the NHS. If we could all be 10% more like Madonna, the world and the NHS would be a better place.
