I was admitted to CCMC and the next day I had the TAVR procedure. From the beginning to the end of my hospital stay, I felt comfortable. Everyone was kind, considerate and respectful. However, there was one person in particular I would like to recognize, and that person is Magen Macias. Magen didn't have to tell me how much she loves what she does as an RN because it is very evident in her mannerisms and attention. Being a nurse is not just her job but her dedication. If I had a question she could not answer, she found someone who could. If I needed assistance, she was prompt in responding. I told her several times that I did not even feel like I was in a hospital, and that made my stay more comfortable and healing. One of the things that really impressed me is Magen's high regard for all of the staff at CCMC. I definitely felt like I was in good hands.
