Majedah volunteered and insisted to help even in her fasting state during Ramadan month. She was assigned to a COVID-19 positive patient on full PPE. Suddenly, this patient required an obstetric emergency intervention. Majedah immediately prepared her for emergency CS. Considering how it feels to be in full PPE, she was noted to have a flushed face, with visible sweats dripping behind her face shield. She was also trying to catch her breath while under the thick layers of the jumpsuits and yellow gown. She was offered to be replaced but she insisted to stay with the patient. Post-operatively, the patient was moaning in pain and she requested to be transferred immediately to the bed. Without wasting a second, Majedah manually transferred the patient with all her might because she didn't want the patient to suffer any longer in pain.
Moments like this truly highlight what an Extraordinary Nurse Majedah is.
