Mallorie is an extraordinary, dedicated, and compassionate nurse that made an impact on me. The first day I was admitted to Oncology, Mallorie was there to learn about my pain and diagnosis.She quickly learned and recognized that the medication dosage was not sufficient to alleviate my pain.She made my pain her priority!She contacted the admitting doctor and worked the proper dosage through the day. She made sure that my pain was addressed first and then asked me some administrative questions she needed to fill in. My wrist band needed to be changed, but only after the pain medication was injected first.It was like she could feel my pain and relieve it immediately.She is the most compassionate and caring nurse!For the rest of the day, she was much attuned to my well-being.She anticipated my requests and needs.At the end of the day, she left instructions for the night nurses to follow, which was very thoughtful.On my last day, Mallorie was there again to take care of me with the same tender, loving care as on my first day.She assisted me with her knowledge, expertise, and compassion all the way to the front door.People can't learn that kind of compassion, they own it, and that's Mallorie.
