Mandi Anderson, MSN, RN

Mandi embodies what it means to be a manager. Her staff praises her and I have never heard one bad thing when others speak of her. I finally met her after floating to her unit and these are some things she did for her patients in ONE shift: 

A patient wouldn't eat but requested chocolate; within 10 minutes Mandi had a variety of candy for her.

A diabetic patient wanted something the unit didn't have, Mandi found it and made the patient very happy after she met his request.

She personally (as a manager) helped give a shower to an older lady who couldn't do much for herself; she had her tennis shoes soaking wet helping the Veteran. As her team says "That ain't no surprise". How incredible to have that type of manager! You are appreciated Mandi.
