I have been a patient at BRRH Labor and Delivery twice, (once in 2019 and again in 2022.) Marcia was my nurse both times. In 2019 my son was in the NICU. Marcia was kind, took me to visit my son in the NICU, and answered any questions we had, all while managing my care. She monitored/managed my pain, monitored my incision and bleeding, and helped me communicate my needs with my physician. We were lucky enough to have her as our nurse again this time in 2022. Fortunately, our daughter was in our room with us. Marcia took care of my needs, pain management, monitoring, and healing, all while checking on my daughter and answering any questions we had. She helped to educate us about the intricacies of caring for a little girl. Marcia did all of this with a caring, kind, and compassionate attitude, always quick with a smile and adding comfort when needed. She is a kind, compassionate, educated nurse, and a great asset to the hospital.
