My son was born very early and emergently. My husband and I could not see or hold our baby for a few days. Marcie eased our minds, she was informative,empathetic, loving and hopeful. It is hard to write how much she has touched my family because I could not thank her with words. Every night we left when Marcie was his nurse we knew that he would get the love he deserved. She was with us for the entire 76 days and there wasn't a day she did not make me feel special. If it was not her infectious laughter, it was her cookies, stories and cupcakes. I have been in and out of the hospital my entire life and I have never met a nurse like her. Even when she is tired, she gives you a pick me up. If there is anyone who deserves this recognition, it is Marcie !!
