Recently she was the primary day nurse for a long term baby with major surgical issues. The little girl had lost most of her intestine to an infection and had a gaping abdominal wound. Margie’s attention to detail and sterile technique helped little Sonia not only survive and avoid further infection, but to heal and grow so she can soon be a transplant candidate.

Margie not only is an exemplary primary nurse, she looks out for all our babies in a very special way. Using her creativity and artistic talent, she provides each baby with a personalized 8 x 11 “name card”, complete with footprints, colorful borders and cutouts. These are a unique keepsake.
