She was incredibly compassionate and attentive whenever I was in discomfort and would immediately respond to help. She would help distract me from the pain by having me sing with her. Though it may not seem like much, her comfort and care did so much to put my mind at ease. I believe that she is an excellent example of what a nurse should be, yet beyond that, she is a wonderful human being.

My wife was Maria's patient and she was like a friend. After open-heart surgery, she provided extraordinary care, compassion, and so much patience. She helped my wife through her pain by having her sing and pray through her pain. Nurse Candido not only cared for my wife but also my children. She would encourage them and instruct them on how to care for her after she goes home. Thank you for the opportunity to thank you for having such caring nurses like her.

I feel very blessed that since day one of hospital stay, my son has been so well taken care of at the SICU department.
