My daughter was seen last Friday for an EGD. Due to her medical history, my daughter was anxious and nervous due to the procedure. Jeanne went above and beyond to get everything coordinated with pharmacy, the anesthesia provider, and the physician. She included my daughter in the whole process. She made her feel like her feelings were valid. She provided pain medication for her IV start and even was able to have someone come in and do an ultrasound-guided IV since she was a difficult stick. Jeanne and the rest of the staff made her feel like family and explained to her what they were going to do and why they were going to do it. Jeanne took the time to get to know her and to individualize her experience so as to feel like she was more than a number. During the procedure, my daughter unfortunately had a setback and Jeanne was ready to care for her when she came out and made sure that the team had everything they needed to care for her. Jeanne stayed with us during the recovery time and made sure I was ok and explained what was going on. She made sure we had the resources we needed before we went home. Jeanne's passion and dedication to her patients were evident during our visit. We are so thankful for Jeanne and her dedication. She is truly an incredible nurse that deserves to be recognized for her work.
