Maria Piec, RN

Maria is a compassionate nurse and has a great ability to put her anxious patients at ease. A summary of her nominators words are as follows: I came in for a stent. The doctor had a hard time getting access and my groin was sore. My back was also hurting so much, and Maria massaged it while I had to lay flat. Maria made me feel much better and told me stories to take my mind off the pain. She spent so many hours with me trying to help me feel better. At one point, I even had a catheter because I couldn’t urinate. The next day, I had no one to drive me home. I couldn’t even believe it when Maria offered. She was willing to do anything to get me better. She was training another nurse at the time as well and they both were GREAT!
