Maria Rosel Espinosa, BSN, RN

I have worked with Rosel for 10 years now, and I can say she deserves to be awarded for a job well done. Rosel is the one who molded me to be a better nurse and still continues to shape me to be a role model to our colleagues! Rosel is an exemplary employee of our unit, not only that, she is compassionate and renders good quality patient care. As an example, I witnessed how she took care of her patient who was suffering from myocardial infarction with uncontrollable anxiety attack, and the patient felt he was going to die. She dealt with him with empathy and could recognize the patient's physical and psychological needs. The patient was so thankful to Rosel for saving his life. He was so grateful for having Rosel as his nurse. She made a difference in this patient’s health and his life.

Rosel is an excellent nurse with humility and who prioritizes patient care according to their needs efficiently. She works with other nurses to provide the best patient care and places the patient's needs first. Rosel made a great impact not only on the patient but also on me as a colleague and in my career. Every time I work with her, I learn new things and ways to enhance my knowledge and nursing skills. Rosel is not only a good team player, she is also a good leader and a role model. She is an asset to this organization.
