Marian Hammers, MSN, RB

Marian is an extremely caring and giving leader. She works tirelessly to ensure that her patients, staff and providers have all their needs met. She goes out of her way to try to reduce the workload of her team. When clinic is short-staffed or the patient load is extremely heavy Marian often steps in to take on the staff’s administrative duties to ensure that they are able to focus on direct patient care and assists the providers with their tasks to ensure they have adequate time to see their patients. She meets everyone with kindness and can be counted on to handle delicate situations with care and compassion. Marian also provides support to the other CHC CRLs and clinic staff. She is the first person to show up at facility Code White events and is often the first person to volunteer to transport patients to the hospital when needed. She is highly valued member of the Ambulatory Surgery team and an asset to Valleywise Health.

Marian has managed years of patient and staffing crises with grace. She has a tireless work ethic, unwavering commitment to patients, and she brings peace and joy to everyone she works with.
