I came to SKGH and sought consultation with your Wound Care Clinic because I have been hearing positive things about the wound care services in SKGH. I have been suffering from Diabetes and complications with wounds on both feet. I consulted many clinics before, but they recommended me for amputation, and I almost felt hopeless and depressed. When I met nurse Marilou Manarang, she encouraged me to be positive, which helped me restore my hopes and well-being. After several treatments with her, I noticed that my wounds were improving, and I started to resume my normal routines without any limitations. With the education I received from her, I managed to be independent with my self-care and wound care, especially in controlling my BP and blood sugar. I sincerely wanted to express my gratitude to her for the wonderful experience and excellent nursing care, which we have never experienced before. I love nurse Marilou, and that is why I also advised my wife to transfer her care, who also has the same wound condition as mine. I also recommend that all patients with similar wounds see her.
