I would like to highlight one main nurse for being absolutely amazing. Mary Alexander on the labor and delivery unit was a God-sent angel during my time at Augusta University. Mary went above and beyond to make my stay better than what I could have ever imagined.
During my unexpected hospitalization I met some wonderful nurses, but none like Mary. She was so patient, loving, kind, and showed so much genuine compassion to me. Mary not only cared about my physical health, but she also cared about my mental and spiritual health. She kept me encouraged and uplifted. I would like to commend her for being a wonderful mentor and nurse and would like to thank Augusta University for allowing Mary Alexander to be a part of your nursing staff.
