From the first day Mary Ann walked into my room she had such a warm spirit-caring as if I had known her for years. Mary Ann is an EXCEPTIONAL nurse. Mary Ann's compassion and excellent bedside manner is outstanding. She was so warm and caring to not only me but my family. See, on another unit, Mary Ann made it possible for me to come off the unit in order to say goodbye to her. She treated my family and out of state family so kind-as if they were part of their own family. She made them feel comfortable at our time of grief.

Mary Ann took great care of me. Always on time with my meds and making sure I was clean and had the things I needed for hygiene. Even when she was not working my side, she would still come and check on me.

During my stay a code was called on the unit and my super-nurse Mary Ann was "Johnny on the spot" and worked to save the woman's life.

Mary Ann represents Henry Ford Health System's core values; dignity, passion, strength-a coat of valor should adorn her! If I could, I would draw a picture of Mary Ann with her thousands of arms and huge heart big enough to cover the universe. Mary Ann deserves a dozen daisies. She is the greatest!
