She is extremely dedicated to making sure the OAC program and our residents are successful.
This nurse had been a nurse at Rogers previously and after a 10-year hiatus decided to return to work on the OAC unit. On July 9th she is celebrating her 10th year here! I have been so fortunate to be working with her all these years. She is extremely dedicated to making sure the OAC program and our residents are successful.
This nurse makes sure there are no loose ends when she leaves for the day and often assists the CHC program with their needs while she is here. She is always making sure the MHT's feel comfortable in their role, assisting in training and ensuring proficiency in medication administration. She has a warm, positive disposition and is so good at welcoming new staff and making sure they feel a part of this team.
This nurse is absolutely a team player, often putting others needs before her own and has been called the "mother" of the unit on many occasions. She is a natural at interacting with parents and has a way of calming them and making them feel that their child is being well cared for. Our psychiatrists know and are comforted by the fact that she will follow through on tasks that need to be completed and that the unit will be taken care of in the evenings after the treatment teams leave for the day. She is the BEST work partner I could ever ask for!!
