I have been asked to recognize Mary Beth Sweeney by a doctor. But, I really didn't need to be asked. She is an outstanding nurse and Patient Service Leader for our Subspecialties Clinics within Ambulatory Medicine. Mary Beth is a true leader. She can multitask, inspire, and cheer her folks on all while placing our patients first. She can be relied upon to follow through on tasks and identify areas of opportunity while providing a solution. She is a joy to work with, she includes everyone in her celebrations and has an infectious laugh. The department has been working short recently and the entire team has been working very hard while keeping their heads held high and that is because of Mary Beth's leadership. The physicians, fellows, respiratory therapists, clerical staff, and of course her nurses all look to her because of her strength, which carries them all through. Thank you, Mary Beth.
