During her time at Encompass we have met many great nurses and one stands out over many of the others. She was always on point. Communicating so I always knew what to expect. Made us all feel comfortable with her recovery. She explained all her medications and what to expect every time she came to provide care. She made her laugh on many occasions when she would get down and depressed. MJ every time she entered her room had a dear smile on her face. When it was time for discharge, and actually as we were putting her belongings into the care, she came out of the building saying "wait, wait" she cannot go home today. MJ explained that everything to us about her labs that had come back as abnormal and she needed to remain at Encompass 2-3 more days for further IV medications and treatment. She was so sweet and kind to all of us. She took the time to explain that another doctor reviewed her labs and felt it would best to stay longer. It was stressful but she helped to calm everyone down and understand why she had to remain a patient. We all felt it was above and beyond her job by putting us all at ease. So we could all be positive and continue working on getting her stronger and also thank you to the entire staff at Encompass Pearland. Everyone was very kind, positive, and respectful to Mrs. H, which made her stay a lot easier to handle.
