I would like to express my appreciation for my nurse. I had a stroke and my nurse was so helpful to me. She always encouraged me to trust my doctor's direction for my treatment. I can barely write, but due to her helpfulness, she has helped me to communicate my needs and provide me with a way to feel like an educated person during this difficult phase of my life. She has provided me explanations of my condition and why certain behaviors are in my best interests. I am grateful she took the time to support me by encouraging me to see clearly the wisdom of my doctor's decisions to improve my situation. She has used her skills to create a goodwill bond between me and my doctor. She also aided me to cooperate fully with the doctor's decisions. RUHS is fortunate to have such a dedicated worker. I observed her always willing to help other patients when necessary. She provided a loving atmosphere on my floor where she served as my nurse. She made me feel like a friend. She is someone who has everyone's best interests in mind. She is very gifted at making me feel important during a time when I felt weak. Because of her assistance, I have the most confidence in her and my doctor's decisions to improve the quality of my life. I thank her so much for being a good representative of the RUHS community. She is all that is good about medical care. I hope that I accurately conveyed my feelings for her and my treatment. I am so fortunate to have her as my nurse. Due to her thoughtful guidance, I feel empowered to remain hopeful about improving my condition. She is a credit to her family and her medical staff. I have much love for her and the importance of a skilled nurse's effect on the success of a patient. God bless her and her family. If I stay, I request she is my nurse whenever possible.
