First, I am a physician and have witnessed many clinical situations. Matt is a highly skilled, very compassionate nurse who due to his calm swift action saved my mother's life. His knowledge allowed him to stay calm while assessing her and he implemented corrective action with great confidence.
Later, he saw me crying and came to talk with me. He understood what I was going through and even offered a hug. I also saw him simultaneously care for another very ill woman while answering many questions from other staff. He also stayed after his shift ended in order to ensure her stability.
Matt is a highly skilled, kind and compassionate nurse and we are lucky to have him.
