Matthew is a truly compassionate Nurse. He took wonderful care of my dad these past two days. Matthew displayed every quality that Northwell prides itself on: caring, compassionate, advocating for patients, listening, and going above and beyond to provide the best care for my dad. He treated my dad as if he were his own father!

She absolutely adored Matthew and emphasized how much she wanted to recognize him for his excellent work and care for her, as well as his other patients. My grandmother expressed how much he truly cared for all his patients and the amount of patience that he had. She told me that he would always check in on her, and whenever she would ask for help, he would always make time to ensure her needs were met (despite how busy he may be).

I witnessed how great a nurse he was to my grandmother while I visited her and helped her with her discharge. He even took his time to make sure my grandmother fully understood everything on her discharge paperwork and would answer any questions she had. As a former medsurg nurse, I appreciate everything Matthew has done for my grandmother because I understand how busy the floor could be; however, he handled everything with a positive attitude and a smile. I can never thank him enough for everything he has done for my grandmother!
