When he found out that she was starting to improve, he was as relieved and happy as we were. Matt really does care.
My sister-in-law became very ill and ended up in ICU on a ventilator. When we got to the ER her oxygen was only 25%. She was very sick hence why she was sent to ICU. We had just lost her brother very unexpectedly and now were very scared we were losing her too. Everyone in ICU thought we would probably lose her too. Sometimes we could feel them actually feeling sorry for us. You could feel the care and concern from everyone in that department. But each day, we showed up with hope and prayer. No matter how bad the odds seemed against us, we tried to stay positive. Then we met Matt. You could literally see and feel the concern he had for our sister and us. He was so worried. She was so sick. We still didn’t really understand everything that was going on. Well one night, I walked up to Matt, he was sitting at the desk, and I just started with all the questions. And he actually listened to every single question I had. He went through and found the answers to every single question I had and explained to us, in terms we understood, just how critical and sick she was. He also explained all the medicines and what they were for. He never got annoyed with me with anything I asked. And if Matt was there, her nurse or not, he would always stop by and check in and see how we were. When he found out that she was starting to improve, he was as relieved and happy as we were. Matt really does care. He deserves such recognition for such an amazing heart and kind soul that he is.
