As a first-time mom, I had no idea what I was doing, but Mckenna’s confidence and encouragement made me feel like everything would be okay.
My partner and I came in to have our first child, a sweet baby girl. We were blessed and lucky enough to get McKenna as our labor and delivery nurse. Obviously, as first-time parents, we were a little nervous about the whole process but McKenna was there to explain everything to us and provide a sense of calm. I can’t explain how helpful she was during the whole process. McKenna was very knowledge about all things labor and delivery. It is clear that McKenna has a passion for her job, and she is great at it. McKenna related to us as people and shared things about her personal life that helped us to build a strong connection with her. McKenna stood out as a nurse that I would request again if my partner and I are able to have more children. The best part is that McKenna came to check on us the next day. Again, this just goes to show the dedication she has to her patients and her job. Thank you, McKenna!!

During my time at the birthing center, McKenna was incredible! She took the time to ensure I was aware of what was happening during each step as well as allowing me the time and space to make my own decisions. She was with me all along the way as my son came into the world, and I am forever grateful for that. She was my advocate and cheerleader all at the same time.

Mckenna was our rock through my first delivery. She made us feel comfortable and confident throughout the whole process. As a first-time mom, I had no idea what I was doing, but Mckenna’s confidence and encouragement made me feel like everything would be okay. She prepared us for every step, making sure we understood what was happening and what was expected. After delivery, she followed us to postpartum and guided me through one of the most vulnerable times of my life without judgement or making me feel uncomfortable. She even came to visit and wish us well a few days later before we discharged, even though she was not our nurse that day. Every time someone asks about our baby’s delivery, my husband tells them about our rockstar nurse. We will forever be grateful for her kind and compassionate care. There is not a nurse I would have trusted more to guide us through this experience.
