I, unfortunately, had a D&C due to a miscarriage. While going through the awful situation, I was lucky enough to have Megan be my nurse. She was a fresh breath of air and extremely reassuring throughout the whole process. Unfortunately, I had products of conception left behind and had to have a repeat D&C. After hearing the bad news in the ER, I heard a “S! Here we go again girl” from outside my ER room and felt so lucky to see Megan once again. Not only was Megan my nurse again, but that girl also has a freakishly amazing memory and remembered everything about me from over two weeks before. Every nerve I had; I was easily rested after seeing Megan. I felt so lucky to be in her care once again. While I hope not to be in this situation again in two weeks from now, I hope to see her in Target or at some restaurant. Megan is an amazing nurse, and her skill and devotion to her patient are amazing and go way beyond any nurse or caregiver I’ve ever had, and she deserves to be recognized for this.
