Nurse Mei-Syuan Li (also known as Berry) has an open and cheerful disposition. She is very considerate and often takes the initiative to find out the needs of her patients. As a result, she often receives praises from her patients and their relatives.
For example, towards the end of 2018, once Mei-Syuan noticed a pair of little girls' patients who were showing signs of fear and anxiety when facing various treatments such as injections during their hospitalization. Before she went to care the children, she put on an especially cute apron and decorated her uniform, ID card, as well as own face with stickers. She brought picture books, stickers and small toys to play with the children until they began to trust her and laugh with her. From then on, neither of the patients were afraid of hospital treatments and their care eventually completed without further issues.
The patients' parents wrote a thank-you letter to the hospital, especially mentioning that they received warm care from nurse Mei-Syuan (Berry) . She helped the 2 children learn to laugh the first time, changed their perception of the hospital and calmed their anxiousness.
