Melissa was called into my ER room because I am not an easy person to get an IV started on. I instantly recognized her from a previous visit, where she also came in to start an IV. Melissa's personality, attitude, and over-all character is amazing. I am a former IV drug user who was a "hard stick" before I caused further damage to my veins.
Melissa makes me relax by her wonderful sense of humor, and genuine concern for me. She never once has made me feel judged or ashamed. She always leaves me with a smile as well as a successful IV start. I call her the vein whisperer. She is an asset to PCRMC and the medical field overall!
