We had the sweetest nurses from admission to discharge but this nurse stood out in her clinical expertise and bedside manner. She was the first nurse during my care to do a full head-to-toe assessment which was refreshing as I am a former nurse. Her sweet disposition and caring hospitality were unmatchable, she made sure I felt like a person and not just a patient. Above and beyond is an understatement as to how she handled each medication administration, checking and rechecking, as a nurse should but she did it with passion for patient care & human kindness. I can’t say enough about how she made me feel better in such a hard few days just by being a sound nurse and an extraordinary human being. She was my night nurse.
