Melissa (Missy) Taylor, RN

Due to unexpected emergency, my expected surgery time got delayed by 2.5 hours. I informed Nurse Missy that I was in an enormous amount of pain and that I was now going to have to wait for surgery. She contacted the doctor who explained that proper surgical protocol was NOT to administer pain medication before having surgery – But that he would talk to Nurse Missy. After the doctor found out how long it was going to be before I could have surgery and how much pain I was in, he granted an exception to protocol and gave me something for my pain. Their kind professional demeanor and actions & attitudes were “just what the doctor ordered”. I thank you and I thank God for you.
