I was on the 7th floor for 6 days. I was in severe pain with pancreatitis, and if you’ve never experienced it you can’t possibly relate to the suffering. Melissa would check everything. She is very quiet and professional; she listens quietly and allows you to express your feelings without judgment. She treats you in a quiet and respectful manner. She lets you know you are not alone and that you have value to her and her staff. She does not ignore the individual or their needs. I am so thankful she was my nurse. She gives of herself in a professional and caring manner and acknowledges you individually.
