As I lay in bed here in 9 South, I want to recognize the nurse who took care of me last night, Melody. For many years my wife and I have not been as close as we should have been. Last night Melody treated us to pop and popcorn. When visiting hours where finished she allowed us to have a "Date Night" and to bond as we should. To me I felt a great compassion from her and I had one of the best times with my wife that I've had in 20 years. She has given me a reason to live. I felt Melody should be thanked publicly and recognized as someone who goes above and beyond her job description.

I want to thank her again and hope that she will receive all that this world has to give. You are blessed to have people like Melody and I appreciate the whole staff for their hard work and the love they exude.
